If you are new to soft focus basecoats, they are a line of tinted basecoats (yes, it has basecoat properties) to help conceal and blur your nail line. These basecoats were designed for use with sheer polishes but can be used with any polish. They allow you to use less of your polish (especially your rare bottles) and build up to opacity quicker without the extra step of a base color. This is not an opaque creme base but can be built up. One coat can add a blurring effect to your nail and can be built up to be more opaque depending on the look you are after. The colored soft focuses , like Chill, allow you to apply sheer polishes to change up the look of them for something new.
